Door Moulding - Front Right, how to replace?

Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone has a video or can point me in the direction of a video/manual so that I can replace my Door Moulding - Front Right, I have looked online and cant seem to find one, it does look pretty simple, but would rather follow some kind of instruction first.

Thanks for the help!

Hi Mate,

Thanks for the input I have seen this video, but this is not the section I am meaning.

The section I am discussing is the outside section of the car, the name that I found to purchase a new part is called the Outer Door Moulding, this is a long black bumper-like material on the bottom of the outside of the doors all around the car.

This is an image of the section:

This would probably need the inner section of the door removed as you provided the video for, but just wondering if there is a video for replacing it.

It does seem pretty straight forward but just wanted to be sure.

Thanks again.

Hi Gaz,

As with every other precision piece of moulding on the D3….you rip it off Smile their held on with the usual studs that snap when you look at them so get some spares first Smile

Couldn’t find an example of one coming off but the below is someone putting replacements back on so you can see where the clips are

My Wife thinks the D3 is a hobby, The D3 thinks the wife is 💕

Hi Kevin,

That's great, thank you for sending that through much appreciated!

I was hopping for an easy rip off and punch it back on kind of repair, and it is a simple fix!!

Thanks again for everyone chipping in and advising!

Best,

Gaz.
