After getting quotes for a basic drawer system configuration (Fridge on slider and 2 drawers on the side) and finding prices ranging from R6400 to R7500 I decided to build my own. I'm certainly no DIY genius, but managed to build a fairly decent looking system for around R2100. Busy with finishing touches at the moment.
The cost savings were big, and the configuration the way I wanted it. Must confess if did take a while longer than I anticipated .. a lot longer
Hi do you perhaps have the pictures or info avaialble as I am thinking of DIY myself

I don't like the idea of the fridge on top of the drawers as it get difficult to see what is in the bottom of the fridge - even when one is 6 ft tall
I found this draw system on an Oz site(http://www.fourbyfitouts.com.au/landrover-detail.html) and thought I share it with the Forum.

I really like the systems made by fourbyfitouts.com. Looks like you can remove them easily which I need. If only they fourbyfitouts.com were in South Africa!

Looking at fabbing myself now. God knows what it'll turn out like though HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE
