I have had one and really liked it till I was a bit sore on it and burnt it out

Dremels are not what they were and I would avoid them if at all possible. If you have an old Dremel then look after it!
If you want a rotary tool that works like a Dremel used to then buy a Proxxon. Predictably they are more expensive but with the demise of Dremel as a quality brand there is not a lot of options. Buying a new Dremel is just giving money away.Land Rover - Turning Drivers into Mechanics Since 1948

i,m agreeing with Robbie on this one had 2 dremels now and both kaput went and brought a black and decker and its been good even use it like hammer sometimes and it still goes
