i think this problem is the same one many have experianced here and on rrs site eg snatching,lurching,thumping,banging ect when slowing down to stop and when pulling away again. as my car is going in to the dealers next week i have been doing a bit of research and found this same problem affecting audi,bmw and jaguar to name a few all fitted with a version of the zfhp26 gearbox .this seems to be a known problem for the zf engineers.will see what dealer says on monday
