Driver's door won't unlock!

Driver's door won't unlock!

Can anyone suggest a quick fix to this?

The driver's door has decided to remain locked - all others are locking and unlocking fine on the remote, but the driver's door won't co-operate. Are there any easy solutions to this?

Will possibly need a new strike plate.
Around £45 + labour - if you're out of warranty. I was a normal heterosexual chap, but in these new woke awakenings I now identify as a Wardrobe.

Predictably out of warrantly Rolling Eyes

I've done a more thorough search on the site now and it seems others have had this problem. Wierdly some have found it fixes itself, others not so lucky....

By way of an update on this, and a tip for others, Hunters in Guildford looked at it today whilst reprogrammimg a door key.

The guy deactivated the security feature that locks the car when in motion, and hey presto it seems to be fine now. They didn't rule out the car needing a new door part at some point, but fingers crossed it's been working ok since I left them this morning.

And a thanks to Hunters who didn't charge for the time taken investigating and sorting out the problem Thumbs Up

You can enable /disable that feature via the left hand indicator stalk Whistle G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

New to the car, and it had been on my list of things to get around to doing as the constant locking was driving me nuts!

The door locking problem has reappeared and disappeared again this afternoon. Horrible feeling it's going to be one of those nagging faults...
