Drivers footwell light

Hi folks. Whilst trying to 'carefully' remove the kick panel above the pedals (investigating a potential steering sensor fault), I managed to break the electrical connector going to the footwell light assembly.

Its got the code stamped on it 1-968704-1 C AMP

I've done a web search and can't find them - any ideas where I could get one or is anyone breaking a Disco3?

Many thanks for reading!

Hi

Plus 1 ref the breakers

I did manage to find the part number for u, ref YPC802690, doesn’t come with the pins but seeing it’s only 2 x wires hopefully it’s easy to de pin the wires

This company sells them , plus checked another company as it shows the picture of the connector

Hope that’s also useful to u

Hi folks, having as much knowledge of auto electrics as a cabbage, I'm after some advice on the pins that go into the connector as above. Are they Dupont pins and I'm guessing there's no standard size? The connector is about 15mm long and 5mm wide with two pin slots

I know I could just cut and connect but I like to have stuff as built

Many thanks

You could de-pin your old connector, measure the pin's and look for them on RS components.

Does your connector look like this one, https://uk.rs-online.com/web/p/automotive-connectors/7187066

Ah thanks both, very helpful. I would have removed the old pins but someone hoovered out the cup holder where the broken connector was strategically stashed.

Riz, very similar to that one but the other handed, narrow and wide guides on the opposite sides
