driveshafts repair or replace

The old girl is fast approach 250,000 miles Shocked drives lovely but when i was changing the air con compressor i noticed the front drive shaft cv boots were looking worse for wear and one had a little split and had lost a bit of its grease, what is the opinion on the forum due to the millage of taking of and putting new boots on or replacing with new and where is the place to get a good set

Use genuine boots and grease, different grease each end.
Shafts not mega dear.
Nearside seems to suffer the most.
