I’ll be interesting to see how you get on I’m supposed to be off to Le Mans in October for a track day and the onto Spa for another two track days.
The Le Mans doesn’t seem to much of a problem at the minute, Spa less so due to coming from a country they deem as high risk and having to quarantine when we get to Belgium until we have a negative test.

We are heading into France the week after next and Mrs Wee is making all the necessary arrangements. Thanks for the pointers on here. Relatively straight forward but not like previous where all that was needed was a passport.
One thing worth mentioning is the Green Card from your insurers, we have checked and this is required and it is sent in the post so it pays to get it arranged early. Her new car arrives tomorrow so she is making all the necessary arrangements for that as well.
Her recent trip to Germany went well, her parents followed up with a visit to us as well which was easier than we thought to arrange.
Roaming to arrange / confirm and travel insurance as well but that's another story.Gone but far from forgotten 55' plate HSE.

Don't forget your Green card only covers you for the required minimum in foreign countries. I had to ensure that my insurance would still provide me with fully comprehensive cover in France.2013 RR Vogue SE SDV8

Got my tests sorted.
Lateral Flow for the way back = £25
Day 2 PCR Test = £43.
So the current cost of testing to go to France and return to the UK is £68/person.

Got mine a bit cheaper return to UK test 25 Euros and day 2 test £40. The UK test prices were advertised at £20 but strangely enough when I tried to buy one they were sold out!
Head off tomorrow (04/09) so will try and report on how easy/hard it was.

Been too and back from France a few times over the past couple of months. Green card not required, a lot of local chemists are supplying Antigen test for €25 and are valid for 3 days. Get the cheapest possible 2 day return test as all you need is the reference number to complete your passenger location form.

Wooooohooooo, peeps that have been jabbed norf of the border can finally get a QR code that works with the tousanticovid app for France. Plus get into countries like Norway where the paper certificate wasn’t accepted.
PS S’pose it would be too much to expect it to work with the NHS (rUK) COVID pass app. Someone pls remind me what the N in NHS stands for.
