arrived in Polzeath just before midnight.
4 hours from Bucks.
Roads fairly empty for the entire trip.
No brainer doing the trip later in the evening.
Will wake up here tomorrow having not spent an entire day in traffic!

Saturday wasn’t quite as bad as I thought it might be. Junction 18 down to Weston was slow moving but overall run from Brum to charmouth was about a hour longer than satnav said it should be, and we didn’t leave home until 9:30.
