Droning when turning right

Hi
When I am going round a right hand bend there is a droning noise that gets louder the faster and tighter the bend.
I have had the wheel bearings checked by the garage and no advisory on mot 2 weeks ago so not sure where to look next.
Doesn’t seem there when turning left.

It sort of sounds like when you used to put a piece of card in the spoke of your bike wheel when you were a kid.

Any advice on what I could check?

Thanks
Baz

Can you feel anything in the steering when this occurs?

Thanks both
Been out for a drive and can report:
Does seem to be front end
Can’t feel anything through steering wheel.

Think a bit more after posting, the mot advisory were:
Play in track rod end - steering wheel is about 5 deg off
Slight play in a rear suspension arm.

Am going to try and have a wobble around Underneath at the weekend To see if there is anything obvious.

So had a look and couldn’t find anything amiss.

Had a long run out tonight and noticed the following

The vibration / noise can be felt through the vehicle and through the steering wheel but only slightly.
It’s worse the tighter the turn
It comes as soon as you turn to the right, even just to avoid a pot hole etc
Not there turning left
Got more noticeable at straight ahead when the car lowers itself on the motorway ( special programs off - another fault I don’t know what it is)

Am going to have track rod etc done but don’t want to go ahead and get it tracked and find out the thing that’s causing this noise needs it to be done again.

Sounds like a front wheel bearing (nsf) to me. Mine was exactly the same. Mileage was circa 110k. Swapped it out and it was fine.

+1 on wheel bearing - do both sides as the other is likely to go

Yep. I did both. Odd how much quicker it is to do the second one. The four bolts at back.... Censored I was hoping they would snap. Alas no.

There's another thread somewhere explaining how the cornering direction tells you which wheel it is. Do a search as it's far too early for my memory to be trusted. Need at least one more coffee to class myself as being awake Laughing

Thanks all.
Going to do another check and then get a hub and see if I can’t do this myself.

Hopefully that solves it, fingers crossed.

Opposite side to the noise. As you turn right the weight transfers onto the left front hence the noise.

Need a big Censored off socket for the drive shaft. My old man was an HGV fitter so I knabbed his 1in drive set and a cut down scaffold pole.

It's a 32mm. I did mine last weekend.

I had SWMBO with her foot on the brakes and I was jumping up and down on my breaker bar to crack it. I thought my bar was going to snap Laughing

Cool thanks
I am sort of thinking may get it done at same time as track rod end for ease.
Did the ones on my D2 with the help of a somebodies dewalt driver so was a dream however current situation means that’s not so easy to achieve at the moment

I need to check the paperwork with the car as am sure it has had one done already so be helpful to see which side.
Cheers again all.
