DSC light flashing
About a week ago my disco went in for this brake vacuum pump recall p017 i think?
On the way home on fast long left hand bends aprox 60mph the dsc light started to flash and you could feel the throttle being cut. when i say it came on i mean it was flashing as it was operating. It was wet but i have never had this light come on ever not even in the snow or no matter how hard i drive, i cant seem to get it to happen on right hand bends. I rang the dealer but they said it cant be anything they did. Today i went out and it done it again on dry roads, im not going slow around the bends but im sure im not going fast enough to activate the traction control. All the tyres are new and the same size etc.
Has anyone experianced anything like this, im thinking if i take it to the dealer for a diag check nothing will show as the light is flashing to say its working not staying on to say there is a fault, but it just seems to be far to sensitive, any ideas anyone.

Had the same thing for some time, but on right hand bends and only above about 40mph. tried tyre pressures and had the wheels checked and set for camber and toe in and out. all perfect! so I am now looking into wheel bearings, and the gap between the wheel speed sensors and the rotor. anyone elso got any ideas?

dsc light !
i also have the light come on, but my systoms are different.
a gouple of weeks ago while turning at low speed, i heard a crack noise. checked underneath no visable problems.
today while driving, going around a corner at about 40mph, the dsc light flashed and a grinding noise was heard. it did not happen again. stopped checked undrneath, no visible defects.
any ideas would be appriciated.
thanks in advancetoday is like no other day!

Mines be doing it for a few weeks, and yup......N/S/R bearing got play. The DSC light flashes on n off when in a right hand bend, killing power. Checked the MTR pressures, but found bearing play

my n/s/f wheel has play.
i have 120k on the clock, is it worth changing both front bearing?
is it a difficult job?
were is the best place to purchase the set of bearing and does anybody know the part number.
thanks in advance today is like no other day!
I have had this fault everytime I use Michelin Synchrone tyres. When I go back the the original spec Goodyears (I have 19inch rims), the problem goes. Recently had Mich on front and two new Goods on back.... problem solved. I have had them swapped so Michss on rear, problem has returned.
I dont believe bearings etc have anything to do with this problem as my fisrt experience was at 32000km from new when my first set of factory Goodyears wore out and I put on Michs to address the poor mileage I had from the Goods.
Many people seem to have this problem and as usual LR seem to know nothing about it least of all admitthere is a problem.Near enough 40 degrees South!!!

As a follow up to my previous; both suspension bushes on the rear upper radius arms on both sides of the vehicle were found to be shot, they looked OK 'til you gave them a prod with a lever. the left side was the worse by far. now is the fun part as I bet the bolts will be seized and will have to be cut out

Well i've replaced the tie rod and had the tracking set and all seems fine.
A word of warning the dealer tried to sell me a whole tie rod repair kit which he did not have in stock and was £54 instead of just the tie rod at £14 which was in stock.
