May i Pick ur brains in this please
Decided to put the CTEK charger directly onto my aux battery
I normally just plug it into my 12s socket , but wasn’t 100% is the aux battery would also charge at the same time , main battery is fully charged
After the aux battery finished charging I checked the voltage on the main battery , dropped to around 40%
Main battery has been perfect and will last around 3 x weeks if not used
Wondering if whilst the charger was on the aux battery if it somehow drained the main battery at the same time
I’ll be able to prove if the main and aux battery charge at the same time via the 12 x socket when I plug the new battery monitor in , due in the next few days
Will be interesting to check via the app after it’s installed if the ctek charges both batteries at the same time or Just the main battery
Just bizarre why it would drain voltage out of the main battery and if anyone has come across this plse with the t max system
At least I’ll be able to update this thread of my findings so will help others
Many thks as always and just threw my why it happened

Will fuse it for that belts and braces , seeing I’ve got the split charge system at least if I do everything I can to ensure the what IF scenario

So connected it up to my aux battery , all up and running
was using crocodile clips from the CTEK directly on-the main battery , can see its also keeping the aux topped up via the T max split charge system
Need to turn the disco round so can plug in via the 12s socket , will then do another screen shot,
Plus hope my windscreen heated jets work after taking the time Retrofitting them

Nice work that app looks very smart. It would be amazing if you could connect to other sensors such as temperature and water level as I would then mount a cheap small tablet in the caravan and use it as a digital display to keep an eye on levels!D4 XS, gone, much loved, never forgotten

Many thks
Can get the software though the App Store , so far so good
Is nice over time as projects start to come together , ie installing the extra dashboard gauges , so now having volts gauges for each battery , inc an inside cabin temperature readout
Got a small cheap monitor a while back and still got to get round fitting it , might be complete rubbish
Also says about the battery monitor module that is has a built in overload system
