Just a lesson learnt, TLO all the way now, none of the others are worth it. I think the problem is you expect the same level of service as you get with Nick, and none can come any where near.

next day signed for is not a postal service we offered you on this item, as you can see from the link its royal mail 1st class standard.
Who did you speak with at this end that offered you that service?

I asked for Dan as per the listing, I knew about the carriage on the listing hence the phone call before buy it now. Dan wasn't available, buy the guy assured me it will be with me next day and will someone be available to sign for them.
The annoying factor is the fronts turned up, replaced, and the rears were removed on a promise and to save time otherwise I would have waited.

Maybe everyone ought to keep their powder dry until the response from Ben (BJD) is forthcoming as all of this is currently not achieving very much (of credit) for either party IMHO I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. Service items are always kept in stock that are listed on ebay from time to time accessories aren't always in stock.
With regards to your next day service note with the paypal payment, if you had contacted us to inform you wanted next day delivery over the phone or by email, i would have charged you the correct postage cost to do this.
However as you didn't pay any extra for delivery, they were sent on a standard 1st class royal mail parcel service.
I am sorry that the items seem to be delayed but i unfortunately can't awlays rely on the Royal Mail to deliver on time.
If you want to speak with me regarding this matter you can contact me on 01673 842101, someone is on the phone at all times to take messages or to transfer you to me.
Regards
Dan.

Seems Dan should read it too, cos whoever took the enquiry over the phone told me to Buy It Now, and in the Paypal instructions/message leave a note to say it was me they spoke to and that it was Next Day.
Tis all done now, I did what was asked for as a customer by Duckworth, twice bitten. End of

I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Duckworth Land Rover parts stock at Market Rasen is approx. £100,000 over the national average to cater for our Internet and mail order sales.
Our stock lines are generated from what we sell, going back 24 months. i.e we stock all of our fast moving items, thus our 'first time pick rate' is exceptional.
Back orders are inevitable in the current climate as suppliers are under various pressures.
Our eBay and Internet shop sales total over 300 transactions a month and continue to grow.
Our level of customer dissatisfaction of this level represents less than 1% of transactions.
One of our largest areas causing issues is with ‘postage’. We do however use over 5 couriers.
All I can say is we always endeavour to deliver a first rate service to ensure our future business. To do this we monitor not just the metrics mentioned above but also everything from our pricing through to speed of despatch to phone call answering.
I apologise if we have not delivered a ‘first rate service’ as expected however I feel your medium of feedback is ‘a little unfair’? However I can accept it.
Referring to your previous complaint I did invite you to contact me personally to assist in any future transactions due to my dedication to ‘get it right and over-deliver’.
We still appreciate your business and I once again invite you to call me or Dan personally the next time you wish to purchase any Land Rover associated goods for a chance for us to re-instate your confidence with my business.
Thanks
Ben Duckworth
