Bought a 2nd hand HSE a few months ago. It had done its 15k service. Will look to book it in for its 30K after Xmas. Going to try and use thelargeone but if you drop your car of for the day does the garage normally lend? you a car for the day or whats the procedure. Dull question I know but where better to ask it

They normally have something suitably Land Rovery available Just make sure you let them know it's Disco3 business and ask for a car to be available I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

dealers will normally have a courtesy car but in my experience you have to book the service and car well in advance. Some dealers have decent cars.... , other have a fleet of Ford Fiesta's , like what mine does... But service is excellant.
Why not just wait while its done and drink their Tea and eat their biscuits... Duncan

If I can get a quiet spot and some wireless acess I could work and wait. How long would a 30k service take? I live in Cardiff but have clients in Dorset so either I wait or borrow a car and go to a meeting, all depends how long it takes?

A 30k is about 2.5 hours work
With any issues etc and time coming into the workshop and time for a wash down we normally say half a day to be safe
If you were in by 8.30 you should be on your way by 12 (if no issues with service or late arrival) TLO has left the building.......
