I think the trick will be finding a format the car will read!

Why do we need to update so soon? I travel all over the country, and the roads have not changed that much have they? Come on, its a Labour government, Its not as though we've got a motorway missing is it.

Or am I missing a point here? Are the new cars still coming out with 04 dvd's when there is a 2006 dvd available? If this is the case then fair enough, they should be updated.

My car was delivered in November. I went to Burton on Trent last week to visit friends who moved into a house on a new estate a year ago. It wasn't on the map on my system. Not sure what date is on my disc though...

The only major road I know that is missing from mine is the new Mansfield bypass, which opened this year. The M6 toll is on, which is the only other major project I can think of.

The POI for petrol stations is a bit optimistic though, most of them have shut down.

I got very tangled in Amsterdams new oneway system - the french have built lots of new roundabouts - and I have found at least one BurgerKing that is now a McDonalds! Agreed UK roads seem OK!

There is (if its still there) a fabulous green lane , just behind the services. It was always a dice with death to slow down when exiting the services onto the A34 south, to turn onto the lane.

The water would be bonnet deep on it sometimes.

PM me if you want an idiot's guide to backing up a dual layer dvd. [Any; not specifically the LR one. I don't have a LR disc, in case anyone was thinking of (a) asking or (b) suing for copyright theft]

My D3 (one day old) has a YIW500012. My dealer has told me today that YIW500013 is not yet available to UK dealers!

Does anyone know different?

My dealer has promised me a 13 FOC if it is released within 3 months...
