Pain in the .
Tried cable ties and they just ripped.

I tried changing a fuse in the passenger side with a piece of string- after I dropped the tweezers into the black hole , didn't work.It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.

Spencer Wells artery forceps. That's what you need in your tool kit! A small pair, straight or curved will do, a couple of quid on fleaBay!

For those of you who have a dog, I today used a standard dog lead to pull a particulary stubborn clip up.
Clip the dog lead onto the light cluster clip - and pull the lead straight upwards. Nice lead to grab onto and the metal clip sits nice and square.
Ideal - especially if you have a dog in the car late at night when your bulb blows....08 Plate Disco 3 HSE TDV6 Auto

It's a Land Rover, why wouldn't you carry a bit of string around?
I keep mine rolled up inside the reel of Gaffer tape.
