Unnecessary and extremely expensive for what they are.....IMO, but they may float someones boat. Captain Nick Medhurst would ask:

I like them to be fair - but 40 quid is a bit steep. I would rather use paint and smoke my orange ones to be black. D4 HSE....Probably, but not quite decided yet.

Normally think clear lenses look good and update an older motor.
But the D3 aint an old motor.
Re going better on a Java, yep, may be ... but ..
I think the java looks fine with the odd touch of orange.
As well as the indicator lenses/repeaters, I also got orange G4 stickers and orange Disco3 stickers.
Don't need/want clear lenses - esp at £40!!! ...... always on the road less travelled 🚧
< ‘tis but a mere scratch …….. it’ll polish out.
