I can recommend having these things.
They stop people with cars slamming their doors into the side of your D3 (just raise it to Off-road height when you park).
The are also quite scrape resistent, so again prevent damage to your D3 when it gets too close to an adjacent lamp-post (or Welsh rock). Coffeecup

mine was a leaking coolant header tank which they replaced, had to wait for a few days for the part as they didn't have any in stock (probably had to fit a few recently no doubt) and I got a D3 (HSE) courtesy car too.2004 Discovery 3 - gone
