If you've time (and you're on your hols I assume so don't...) you can spend hours via the Search facility of here over the Eco light and SS.
As above, probably the SS battery on the way out...
Have fun in Spain. Fingers crossed for the 'list' issues... Jim

can just leave it connected - it will be fine. I ran mine like that for 6 months before changing the battery. Si

With the ECO stop start not available message and fault light , your SS will not work. My car had no problems continuing to drive and had no other faults. On mine I left it like this for a week (while I continued to drive) while I sourced a new small stop start battery. These are around £40 or about £150 (from memory) if you buy exactly the same battery with a LR label on it. My 2015 model uses an Exide EK151 battery.
In my case, when I tested the voltage on the SS battery it was very low 10V rings a bell, tried charging it with a smart charger (CTEK) and got an error so replaced. Ideally you should do a Battery Management System (BMS) reset on this battery after changing (using IID) , but I didn't and it was fine (as have others).
Plenty of info on this subject on the forum, so search further if you need to. (Stop start not working, EK151, auxilliary battery etc). It's an easy swap out you can do yourself, when you are ready.
Have a good break
Cheers Gary

Whilst the Stop Start is not working it would be a good idea to switch from Drive into Neutral when sitting in stationary traffic, this will prevent any excessive wear on your torque convertor. Gone 2016 Landmark D4

My Stop/Start battery failed 18 months ago, so S/S doesn't work which is fine by me.
At traffic lights I suggest that you should select N & apply the handbrake - using the foot-brake exposes the car behind to brake lights, and uneven cooling of the discs, increasing the risk of them warping.

I have never heard this before - can anyone substantiate it? Joe @OvalAutos maybe? Would you recommend going into neutral every time the car is stationary?
If it's true then what about all of the Disco's built before Stop/Start was even a thing?
Mine works but only very occasionally, I assume due to other demand on the batteries.

Exactly the same thing as driving a manual car, when stationary knock it out of gear and apply handbrake, nothing worse than sitting behind someone in a stationary queue of traffic and having to stare at high intensity rear brake lights for hours on end... I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!
