oh well, just as well its still in warranty, just!!
have pm'd shinymoose who mentioned that he might be able to get a group lot done, once I have em, its off to the independent LR garage to have em blanked!

I'm always a bit cautious when I see that there is only one diesel pump working on a forecourt, especially at a supermarket where there are normally several on the go. Its an indication that they are very low in the tank, so the chances of getting some crud are increased. Which of the Morrison's in Glasgow did you use - I had a crap load of petrol in a hire car from one near The Ibrox a few months ago - didn't really notice until we hit the road home and it nearly conked on us, into the first Shell station we spotted topped the low tank and it wouldn't re-start. RAC turned up to fill up just as we were about to phone them, took him a few minutes to get us going, lots of cursing coming from under the bonnet, so we bought him breakfast, over which he told us we'd picked up some dirty fuel probably form the bottom of a tank, but as it was a hire car we should keep shtum about it when we dropped the car off.....
The more I read the more I'm glad I blanked the EGRs off some time ago as they look like trouble waiting to happen or are out of stock, which means a lot of folks have had trouble and now LR's supply chain is trying to catch up.Rob Smith
