I've had my 07 plate Disco 3 from new and have only done 28,000 miles in her. Would it be of benefit to me to blank off the EGR and patch it?
I've only recently be told about the EGR and what it actually does that it worries me that the manufacturers would fit it in the first place?
Thank you in advance for any help or advice.  If your ship doesnt come in, swim out to get it!!

In diesel engines exhaust gas recirculation is used to reduce NOx emissions at the cost of efficiency.
