Good morning folks.
I have an 06 D3, for the last couple of weeks, when pulling away from a standstill, its like pulling away in 3rd gear and then when revs pick up, I leave a puff of black smoke and when out and about, it feels sluggish on normal driving with poor mpg.
Does this lead to the EGR valves being clogged or something else?

Yes sounds like EGR valves. When I have had EGR problems in the past when you tried to move off the power was next to non-existent until a certain speed was reached when the full power seemed to kick in.

Yep, sounds like egr, mine felt like I had the handbrake on at initial pull away, despite the increasing revs. Blanking worked perfect, can give you a hand if you want / need to do it. 2008 HSE Stornoway Grey

I have it booked into a local specialist to give me a price to replace, if it's horrendous, i'll look at blanking them off.
