I've already got mine blanked. Can you reset the ECU remotely yet, and if so how much?

hi mate,

am i right in thinking blanking the egr on a 2004 will not cause the EML to show up?

is this only applicable for 2006 onward cars?

thanks

EGR valves replacement

I just did both mine after market £45 per side, took about 4 hours per side. My MOT station warned me about blanking plates, they’d fail it if I’d fitted them. Phew glad I didn’t.

Blanked my EGR valves off years ago on my 2004 TDV6 and had no issues. The only way to know they are faulty is to check the system with diagnosis equipment, otherwise no other isuse.
