Electronic Parking Brake
I had an amber warning on my parking brake last week, after the dealer had a wee look he advised that the issue relates to moisture or grit getting into a small sensor and the sensor would need to be changed. Apparently a big job as it take 2hrs to strip the car down to get it out.
So I turned up at the dealers this morning and waited for them to do the work. After an hour the dealer came and saw me and said that a techincal bulletin had been issued today which basically changes the sensor to another type as simply swapping the sensor out does not work. So on my way back on Friday to get it down properly.
Thought you might interested for anyone else is getting the amber

When did the amber light come whilst you were driving, mine comes on sometimes when I've switched the engine off prior to removing the key altogether.2004 Discovery 3 - gone

the amber light generally appears on a medium to long journey and only every whilst driving. Switching the engine off and restarting always resets it. The dealer was excellent and said it is nothing to be worried about and will not do any damage to the car

A similar PB warning light also came on in error on older software.
Was fixed by the latest SW update.
I assume they tried this too ?

I never asked the question, will do though. What is the correct level of software I should be on?
