Also says it needs to be paid by the 22nd as well... Laughing

Were it genuine it would be unenforceable as it doesn't contain information as to what to do if you dispute the charge... and the UK is a pretty large parking area (but then again that's a whole other thread) Rolling with laughter

Hi nige

Indeed, very confusing , so it goes to £50 in 14 x days but then that’s the cut off date being the 28 th Whistle

Good point ref the uk Laughing , they normally provide photographic evidence don’t they if you’ve gone into a charging , Assume the only charge is in central London

Feel so sorry for the people who fall for these scams , some look very convincing

Ps, hope ur keeping safe and well mate Thumbs Up

Not sure how we can protect people as somebody always falls for it.

These scammers , Scum of the earth and don’t know how they live with themselves , fingers crossed karma will come knocking at the door

From what I have read, you can't be refused the option of paying cash to settle a debt (unlike the purchase of goods).

Would be an interesting face to face meeting at their "office" Whistle

Do they provide a link so you can pay the fine with iTunes vouchers? I understand that HMRC prefers these as it reduces fraud.

I'm gutted not to have received this email yet, but have drafted my reply for when it turns up:

Quote:
Dear sir,

I am most distressed to find that I have to pay this fine. I was only parked there as I was in your house pleasuring your wife, which you cannot do as, in her words, "you cannot get it up any more due to your drinking".

I am even more upset as I arrived at a bad time as there was a queue to see your wife and the three gentlemen in front of me (who all went in together, btw) assured me that you would intercept the fines and "make them go away" in order to carry on the drinking without getting nagged by your wife.

I enclose 2 vouchers for Wetherspoons so you can get a free pint next time you visit.

regards,

Dean.
