Enabling features on XS

Hi, I've recently bought a 2010 XS after many years of Defender ownership. I believe that the 4WD info screen, push to talk button and fuel burning heater can all be enabled with an IID tool or similar. Is anything else needed to enable the FBH, i.e. is it fully fitted and connected up and ready to go and just simply disabled in software on the XS model?
Also can any recommendations of anybody in the Northwest (I live in St.Helens) who can enable these features and any rough ideas of cost?

Hi Stooby

XS should be all ready to go, would have thought this was already enabled in the extra features, ID tool can enable these ok, I’m sure somebody local will be able to help for few beers

Bodsy among others does a neat remote unit for the FBH.

Hi Stooby,

the fuel burning heater will always come on when needed with decent battery and fuel levels.

The IID will allow you to pre-program it to come on at certain times.

The Altox FBH remote is a nice bit of kit to get - do a search on it here - user Beanie can provide Thumbs Up Stolen - D4 Loire Blue
