| Enabling the Timed Climate |
|
Hi all, I have a 2010 D4 HSE but no sign of the timed climate on the screen. I also have a GAPIIDBT tool and was wondering if I can enable it myself (and if so, how) or do I need someone with a PRO IID to come and enable it for me?

Hi Famous five, I thought that too but it was not on the screen.
I have done some playing with the IID and found how to switch it on. I now have the timed climate button by the valet button on the screen.
Thanks for your help. 
FYI,
HVAC file.
Timed climate set to "enabled"
FBH set to "fitted parking heat"
Then the button appears on the screen. D4 Landmark 66 plate - Current
D4 HSE. Stornoway Grey - Loved this one, but had to upgrade.
D3 HSE Stornoway Grey. NAIL.. Returned to dealer.
D3 XS Java Black - Gone but not forgotten.

My MY2010 HSE didn’t come with Timed Climate either.

Dito 2010 HSE did not come with it.
I enabled it myself with my Faultmate. Faultmate MSV-2
500,000 plus miles in RR,s and trying for more without breakdowns this time 
Gone Lexus RX400h SE
Past Audi A6 avant Qutro
Toyota Supra
Long line of RR's
Had for 40 years but now gone 1935 Daimler and 1937 MG

Could I ask how long it took the iid tool to make the changes, I need to do this and was wondering if I need to have an external power supply to the car, thanks 👍🏻
