Re Skoda owners... I'm waiting until he has the first issue with Skippy then we can all shout "strip it !" in a very loud voice..
I thought I’d be OK with a Volvo, recently moved it on after thirty months, running cost, breakdowns, visits to the dealers, twenty years of Land Rovers, they never let me down, always made it home, used Land Rover assist twice, battery failure in both cases, even the guy from Volvo Assist said, I’ve been to you before haven’t I?

I too had no issues with any of my Land Rovers over the same sort of period, well maybe the D2 was a bit of a challenge but that was a while ago.
Other than initial purchase and servicing I had no LR dealer contact and I had a great Indy laterally when the odd age related issue needed attention. .
Time will tell with the Volvo, it has manufacturers warranty for a couple of years at least and the local dealer has just changed for the better too.
But so much technology 🤔

Lots of Technology, loved the car, but love reliability more.
Mine had just come out of warranty but then issues started, adblue issues, kept coming up with countdown top up adblue, but it didn’t need adblue, but the fault would clear itself by the time you could get it booked in, so it was no fault found, compressors, brakes locked on.
