Hi Peter,
1. Replaced front brake pads
2. Clunk in transmission – still there! When it goes in to have the back-ordered parts installed, I'll give them a harsh word or two about this after taking them for a drive.
3. Transmission message “F†and “limited gears available†- only had this offroad.
4. Clunk in steering column over bumps (off-road) - they couldn't hear it!
5. Cruise control sometimes doesn’t work - software update supposed to have fixed this.
6. Middle row near side seat will not lock down flat - new seat base on back-order.
7. Rear row off side seat seat belt socket will not pop up when seat is lifted, nor fold down when seat folded away. Part on back-order.
8. Near side A pillar exterior black plastic trim rattles/squeaks at certain speeds/wind direction - clips replaced.
9. Off side interior A pillar airbag cover warped out of shape - part on back-order.
10. Windscreen cowl – discoloured and scratched - "sorry, not covered by warranty".
11. Steering wheel airbag – curled along the top, back edge. Please get new part – LR012986. This is under TSB LTB00203). "Sorry, this is not curled - this is how they all look"
12. Driver’s seat base creaks – sounds like a broken frame. Part on back-order.
13. Steering wheel – has white spots at 10-to-2 position. Spots on exterior of leather - not covered by warranty.
14. Rear passenger door out of alignment – sticks out from body further than the driver’s side. "Sorry, that is the way it was made. To move the door in would make it harder to close." Looks to me like the frame was not made straight!
15. Check if rear e-diff software update (to recalibrate) has been applied. "Already applied"
So three days off the road to do 84k service, replace some trim clips and front brake pads. I know they are busy - but really!

Which dealer?
Was it the 'new' Alto.
Steering wheel should be covered.
Air bag cover has usually been refused.
Cruise control would be the clock spring which is covered by a TSB.
There was a TSB for steering bump on small bumps.
Could be ARB bushes if over larger bumps. (just needs a shim)
Gary said LR had been getting narky about warranty. “There are only three sports: bullfighting, motor racing, and mountaineering; all the rest are merely gamesâ€

Took mine in for its 36 month service yesterday with a few warranty issues: -
Air bag cover peeling at rear
Door seal coming off (already replaced under warranty)
Drivers lumber support rattles (lumber support already replaced under warranty)
Dealer also noted slight wear in lower front ball joints and an oil weep at LF axle seal
They said they would go to LR on the first 2
No comment on the last 2
They also said vehicle is 19 days outside warranty although is was only 4 days overdue for 36 month service per vehicle indicator.
Any thoughts? I think they should fix everything except maybe the ball joint wear under warranty
Also does anyone know if they change the brake fluid when they do the brake booster recall? because they charged me to change the oil. Car has done 53000 and they undertook 36 mnth (72K) service $736!!!!! TDV6 D3 HSE
