Are dealers likely to be offering incentives to close deals before end of Jan?

End if quarter is always good. I bought a Freelander new once on the last day of the quarter at 4pm. Walked in and chose from stock, had to register it there and then for them to get quartely rebate. Was all a bit rushed, but got a good deal.

They are riding high at the moment and as a consequence we pay the price
I reckon it depends on the incentive set up at the dealer (or group) so you might find a salesman who needs to shift one more car to make a target (but even then his margins will be narrow)
At the moment LR don't seem to be offering any central incentives (I think they are easily selling everything they make and dont care if its for here or China)
Just have to ring around I guess
I have had 2010, 2011 and 2012 D4's from new but the deal for March 2013 is 3K more than last year - a marked change
If I were in a 3 year old D4 I'd get out pretty quick Illegitimi Non Carborundum

For a stock car probably yes, for an order I don't think so the way the demand is just now.
The Aberdeen dealer has just changed hands and are offering £1500 'additional LR contribution' on an new XS, whatever that works out to I don't know, probably not a lot
The 8 - 10% others have mentioned would be worth chasing down though!
