Driving on the highway this morning, in traffic so not going very fast, and I get the info message: Engine Performance Reduced
I didnt really notice any change but then I wasnt going above 50 or 60kph anyway.
No engine light on, and after a couple of mins the info message cleared.
Anything i should be checking? is the car safe to be driven?

should be ok to drive if the message has gone.
need to read the fault codes

so this happened again today
only this time, the car stopped the engine. I took the key out, reinserted it and the car started fine and drove without problems
I plugged in the GAP tool and I cant see any errors from today. There are existing errors since the last time I cleared.
existing under body control:
B1B02-28 low freq coil, general signal failure - out of range/zero
B1BA0-66 excessive challenge requests or start attempt in storage mode
B1C57-14 Passive start ignition relay coil circuit - general electrical failure - circuit short to ground or open
B1D12-15 Volumetric alarm power circuit - gen electrical failure - circuit short to battery or open
U0155-87 lot communication with instrument cluster control modile - bus signal /message failure -missing a message
other codes are for cell phone, instrument pack, PDCs and TPMS
apart from ventilation:
B1B78-84 - system pressure - bus signal/message failure - signal below allowable range
I'm confused (and worried) about taking the car on longer trips now (or being in the fast lane on a highway and getting stuck)

I think I'm going to give my MAF sensor & TB a clean. I noticed that both times I've had the engine performance warning happen was when I was lightly feathering the throttle in heavy traffic
