Everything, and anything is possible - at a price.

It may be simpler, quicker & cheaper to consider site sponsor, Pete Bell's offering:-

https://secure.bellautoservices.co.uk/stor...2010-3-0l/

which gives:-

Quote:
an extra 40bhp and 100Nm of torque which improves driveability considerably, taking the total power output to near 285bhp and 700Nm !

If you chat things through with Pete he can offer you other options, if you wish.

Pete's site only mention the original 245bhp offering, not the later D4 power outputs. I understand that these can offer around 300bhp when remapped.

3.0 6 speed Disco 4 TDV6 takes power up to 290bhp and 700Nm giving a 0-60mph time of just 7.6 seconds!
The current 8 speed Discovery 4 SDV6 models are the best yet, giving reliable engine outputs of up to 310bhp and 730Nm resulting in a 0-60mph time of 7.0 seconds, and 0-100mph in 19.9 seconds while delivering over 30mpg!

I have an Alive map in my D3, tuned to suit my needs and very happy with it.

From what little I know (and thats not much), I would only go to Alive or BAS they both understand what they are doing and the backup service it VERY good from them both.

Alive have always done mine so I like to stick with someone I know and can trust.
