Can’t say I’m enjoying it TBH.
Elements around fair play and sportsmanship ‘better’ than men’s game but quality isn’t and the way it’s being ‘forced’ as brilliant, amazing, always loved it, comparisons, etc. Is false reporting basically.
As a ‘business’ it has a long way to go, biggest clubs get gates lower than third tier men’s unless given away yet the cries for equity on pay, etc. just ring hollow.
Right direction but long way to go yet

I have been really enjoying the games, the girls battle for 90 minutes, no bad sportsmanship (cheating) like in the mens game.
Tonights Scotland vs Argentina game was excellent, although ruined by the foot on the line rule and the dodgy timekeeping.
As a proud Scotsman, I never thought I'd say this but I shall now be supporting England (do I need to get a bad bulldog tattoo and drink lager to get the full English fan experience?)

Flicked channels and watched about 60 seconds of it, may have been second half or some highlights at halftime , and switched channels again.
My 13 year old probably shoots harder than some of the shots i saw from outside the box.

I agree the game still needs to mature but these girls have only really been full time for two or three years. Up until recently there has not been the commitment to the game with finance and management.

Yep as a business it is still growing and needs better attendances but so did darts and snooker but with investment they have prospered. Although too much money (IMHO) can spoil the game, I think that has happened with F1 and men's football.

I hate men's football, they fall over a blade of grass and lie in agony because someone is close to them, it really is cheating, trying to get the opponent sent off, FIFA could clamp down on it and send people off post match, just like they rescind cards, but they don't, its just full of corruption.
This I found myself watching for over half the match, was it brilliant....no..... but a breath of fresh air compared to the men's game where they actually wanted to play football than go for their equity card.Joined the BMWX5 45e group
