Enhancement Programme at service

My Discovery 3 has just had its first service with a main agent. Before the service it ran really smoothly and the suspension was great. Since the service it is much more bumpy and the suspension is really firm. The car appears lower and it does not rise when I start the engine like it used to or go down when I have turned it off like it used to before the service. The main agent says it ran a 'software enhancement programme' that changed aspects of the suspension. Has anyone else heard of this. It feels like a completely different car and I don't know what to do.

Hi Laura and welcome!

Yes most of us have had the 'enhancement' and results vary from car to car.
Mine is a bit harder but that is about all.
Do a search for 'enhancement program' and get ready for a lot of reading.

Welcome to the site Laura Very Happy

There is an enhancement program running currently, some members report stiffer suspension afterwards, some don't (me included). Ask your dealer if they can make any adjustments if you're not happy with the way it is now

It shouldn't lower automatically when you switch off other than minor self levelling adjustments, if it was doing it very noticeably perhaps there was an issue with the air suspension that they've rectified, the enhancement program does include some modifications to the air compressor to make it more reliable

Sounds like its stuck at access height. Call LRA or take it back to the dealer. I'm sure they will have it fixed in no time at all. Although, they should really have got it right first time.

Welcome to the site Thumbs Up

possibly the rise and fall was the fault - unless you intentionally lowered it at switch - off and raised it once started?
although it is possible that the enhancement has given you a couple of inches of harder ride....
