service-test -epb normal or service setting

service lets the cable right off to allow you to fit the new shoes, take your time as the first time you do it will be quite difficult to do after that its quite straight forward
 please excuse any grammer/punctuation mistakes,i'm thick,thankyou

Is it exactly the same on a D4?

I can’t find the “mount” or “service” position on the D4 using the IID tool. Only an unjam mode, do I use the unjam mode to back off the parking brake as I am going to change the rear disks and pads next week.

yup pretty much the same route as d3 but i think its called latching mode or something like that

dont use the unjam mode i always end up going thru all the menus to find it as i can never remember where it is try service /body control/park brake/latching could be wrong though Laughing

Try the control O/I on the main menu, then in the parking brake menu, mounting mode, apply
Thumbs Up

Thanks Steve. Just tried it on the car and found it were you said. I had been trying the service/test area.

Rain due tomorrow so planning on changing the rear disks Thursday.
