So, I did the brakes on my 2010 LR4 HSE last weekend... When I did the rears, i loosened off the adjuster for the parking brake, replaced my pads and rotors and put everything back together, forgetting to readjust the adjusters.
When I engaged the parking brake I got a EPB fault. I was quickly able to release however, even after adjusting the parking brake resistance according to Bodsy's brake bible, I am unable to use the EPB. I get an error every time I try to engage.
Is there a way to recover form this or am I screwed? I should note, the EPB worked perfectly prior to replacing my pads and rotors.
Thoughts?

It may be as simple as making sure the shoes are centered in the new hubs. Did you remove the error code with a reader.

The pads aren't out of alignment and I have adjusted them according to Bodsley's Brake Bible. As for the error, I haven't cleared the code with anything other than a pull of the battery for 10 minutes. Does it need to actually be cleared with the code reader?
It sounds like it's trying to engage when I pull the epb button but then I immediately get the fault on the dash.

Rear pads and rear parking brake shoes are two different things. One is on the outside the other is on the inside.
Yes to clear the codes. If you have no reader, disconnect battery and short the leads together (may need a screwdriver to reach). This will reset everything.
