EPB Wiring

Hi all, does anyone know what voltage I should be expecting on this red/brown wire at the EPB plug? Currently I see 0.013v with ignition on but no change depending on switch position.

Trying to chase an intermittent U2002 fault, when the handbrake was off the switch had no control over the handbrake.

I’ve checked the rear connectors & internal plugs look ok no obvious damage, corrosion or breaks.

Next step is to overlay 4 new cables between switch & EPB module, but want to check what this cable should be first if possible as I can’t see it on the diagrams I’ve got.

Just as an update on this, we did some testing with a multimeter and found no continuity on the red wire between the handbrake plug and plug that goes into the handbrake module underneath.

We ran a new cable and joined it both ends into the red cable and we’re working perfectly again.
