Cars old enough the cheap blank plates off of ebay work well and can be fitted at home.
Two types available, 1 totally removes the EGR piperwork and is the neatest, but with mot rules changing next month you may be better going for the slip in type which as the name suggests means you just loosen the EGR pipework bolts and slide the plates in and retighten the bolts.

HI, I thought that with the MOT changing the engine light not going out (due to missing EGRS) would now be a fail ? Disco 3: Lotus Elise S1: Ferguson T20: Audi A2

The OP's is an EU3, and so will not have a MIL light.
'08 model year onwards need a software patch to get rid of the MIL light. New gearbox & TC, 3 x front wheel bearings, belts changed, new oil pump, new battery, new rear prop, new front prop, new front diff, front arb refurbed, front cv boot kit, egr blank and BAS software patch, full rear suspension / drivelive rebuild, new front arms, LED trailer light fix, split charge.
Never had a 107, 90 or 127, but have had most of the rest!
