Exhaust crossover pipe

Rather than body off, can the cross pipe be replaced if gearbox is removed?

Yes, and that is usually the preferred method, as its quicker Thumbs Up

However, your only 1 snapped stud away from lifting the body Big Cry

And access looks a Censored to drench in easing oil, but probably worth wasting a drop or two, what are your thoughts on Plus Gas?

Snapped stud or seized nut. I had a living hell with mine. In the end I bought a 2 post lift to take the body off Laughing
And for a laugh had a jig made and then got a well known company to make an upgraded crossover.
Thumbs Up

Iirc about a year or two ago there was a post on here where a guy had replaced his crossover pipe in situ without taking gearbox out or body off!

I bought one second hand off the bay. I’ll have a look what model it is.

It’s been said that you can do it with the body on bits it’s a complete total pig of a job and if just 1 stud or nut rounds or snaps it’s game over.
