| EXPEDITION ROOF RACK AND EXTEND RAIL? |

Hi guys,
I want to swap my Land Rover expedition roof rack over to my new D4 and wondered if there was an easier way of doing his at an extend roof rail?
At present the rack is mounted to the roof rail at the rear and two brackets on the from which I always found bizarre.
I've since seen what looks like an extension for the roof rail which fits all the way to the from and wondered if that would be a much easier option for securing the roof rack to the car?
Does anyone has any ideas?

are you sure you arent talking about the full length roof rails that replace the standard short ones, as these are the only ones that I've seen that come all the way to the front.
The other thing to consider is this. The front most fitting for the extended roof rails is plastic, whereas your expedition rack has those two metal brackets that come down to the roof, so I'm not sure the extended roof rails would/could give you the support at the front for the weight you might stick on an expedition rack

Hi mate,
Yeh that's the one lol. Went on to YouTube last night and looked at the fitting method and as you say it doesn't look like it would give enough support
