Right guys, as I've said before when we've had trouble - simply saying "it's not been working" doesn't help...

If you can please note down the time of the outage and how long it lasts, also any error messages which are displayed or the site's behaviour when it goes down would be extremely helpful (taking forever to load, etc)

Unfortunately, as much as I'd love to, I cannot personally monitor the site 24/7 and so I'd really appreciate all the help you can offer

You can either e-mail information to me at [email protected] or post in this thread on Freel2.com, which should stay online during DISCO3 problems: http://www.freel2.com/forum/topic218.html

Down just like what's happened is what's happening all the time. On very rare occasions, an error message generated by the forum software being unable to connect to the database server due to a timeout, but that's quite rare. I must admit that I haven't tried pinging or tracerting the server while the site has been 'down' so I'm afraid I can't help there right now.
Also, the whole site seems slower in general - e.g. loading threads takes a lot longer than it used to. I don't think it's a bandwidth capacity issue as say for example in the gallery, once a large picture starts to load it loads fine - it's moreso the responsiveness - possibly related to the database?

My suspicion is with the database too, I've flagged it up with the host Smile
