Title says it all really... problems with parts, suppliers etc are holding things up atm. Not hopeful of seeing mine by the end of this week as originally "promised"

Not to mention all the visitors they are having to show round the factory, which must be distracting the workforce I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.

Yep - We all had a go yesterday at the factory putting the engineers off building D4s by asking stupid questions.
They didn't even put a full day in finishing at 3.45pm the line stopped - tut tut
In truth if you had seen how efficient and organised they are, you have no grounds for complaint. Parts arrive from suppliers only minutes before they need fitting, dashboards are built by siemans with 4 hours notice etc etc SOLD - 23my Range Rover Sport D300 Dynamic SE

And Siemens are fined 3,800 Euro's for each dashboard if they are late, needless to say, they are not late very often. On a mission to find the perfect Pork Pie. Just Found it (I think)..(Yes I have)

Err, can't help thinking you didn't quite read the post properly... I know all about JIT manufacturing and how it's supposed to work, unfortunately at the moment we're learning all about what happens when it goes wrong!

It's not one of the ones that some emissions official chap decided he wanted to check
Apparently they can take any car never to be seen again - a special order, standard build, whatever, and LR have to start building it all over again. The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that none of it has tried to contact us yet.

It can't be the EPB - they'd still deliver it, then charge me to fix it... They could still be looking for a suitably sinking driver's seat I suppose (I'm still not convinced about seat base number 3 in mine )
