| failed suspension up/down switch console. |

Hi guys, looking for some advice. My suspension up/down switch console has failed on my 54 plate Disco 3 HSE. The garage are quoting me £419.28 + VAT to replace which i am struggling with.
Is this my only option or are there any other suggestions out there?
I have put a separate post out to see if there are any for sale secondhand unit but any other ideas?

About £90 off EBay for the whole console,
Takes less than a Minute to swap over 
I did a fix many moons ago with some solder and a bit of copper wire
So if you are handy with a soldering iron ...

Hi,
I got one from an online breakers for £45, easy to fit in a few minutes.
Most give you a 3 month warranty, mine has gone past that and it’s fine.
Just another option for you.

I’m not hard to spot at the minute, I’ve got L plates on for the missus.
Do you know of anyone local with an iid tool, got a few things I want doing?

I got iid tool
But would need extra vin license to do any updates etc
Ol yog#2 is easy to spot
I’ve done the black pack treatment
Wheels,windows,air intake grill etc
And my Yog numberplate

Hi,
My suspension switch has stopped working also.
Suspension works with special functions selected. E.G grass/gravel/snow and low range lifts suspension ok.
To lower back to normal, select high range and drive over 30mph.
No fault lights or error messages.
Am i to pressume that if i change the console it will work dandy?

Nobody answered! Anyway, the problem has rectified itself, and works fine now. Maybe signs of an electrical bug.
