Fair price for an 'S'?
Hi all, just looking to buy our first Discovery S and have spoken to a couple of local dealers in Glasgow who are talking £30250 for an S with metallic.
The total RRP on this is about £32500 - does this seem like fair discount?
I can spec this up through Autoebid for £29300 (including their fee). I'd rather buy locally but its quite a saving and it still seems like I would be buying from a Landrover dealer. Anyone bought in this way?
Any advice would be welcome.

I paid my local LR dealer (Guy Salmon) £32000 for an S Auto with Metallic about 9 weeks ago - the Auto box is a bit expensive (£1500 I think) so the £30250 for what I assume is a Manual is OKSteve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

We paid 31500 back last Autumn for an S with metallic and rubber mats so your price sounds good.

Am about to (it's ordered) pay £31,600 (32K inc. broker fee) for a TDV6 'S' Auto with metallic and leather.

thanks. Quote doesn't seem too far away from what most have paid.
Tiger seems to have paid much less though - this is cheaper than autoebid too. If you don't mind me asking Tiger, where did you get the car from and when?
I would prefer to get one locally but it does seem like the prices vary quite a lot.

3 weeks ago, local London dealer, not fair to say which one. I had no p/x and paid cash, I took a car from stock and they registered it on 31st March to get target / bonus ??

I negotiated an 8.6% discount on a HSE with my local dealer (£43495 List to £39750). This was not an end of month/Quarter deal! Having reviewed the Disco3.co.uk For Sale forum, I did buy my dealer fit options though the dealer recommended by other members and saved another £250.LR Discovery 3 2.7TD HSE

2006 S Met auto xeons and PTI was £31500 from Stratstone in Stourbridge early Jan 2006.2006 TDV6 S Auto, Buckingham Blue, for the wife and kids.
