So the thought that they were selfish gits didn't cross your mind???? It did mine and I take it that is what Bodsy thought too. I think we all echo your last sentiment though.DS3 TDV6 HSE - Silver with Alpaca (old one) Gone

Anybody who has young children can partly understand what the two parents must have felt like. It would be very hard to convey how you feel about your kids to someone who isnt a parent. The loss of their 5 year old son must have completely overwhelmed them, my thoughts go to any friends or relatives left behind.Club Exped trailer

Bodsy - no need to feel guilty about this thread or your original post. The first news led to an understandable conclusion at that time. We can only sometimes judge by the information we are given. The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Very very sad story - I cannot understand what it feels like to have the first tragedy happen to your child never mind the second one. I have some close friends having a similar kind of nightmare right now with their 4 year old, who, to quote the doctors treating the poor lad, "has the worst case of Meningitis they have ever seen where the child has survived" Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)

For those that were wondering about my previous post....
Have known the dad (not biological) since he was 2 years old and my son works with him - a great guy. They've got some tough times ahead.Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history)
