Fault code - C1a24

Hi there
I have a 2007 Disco 3 thats been awesome, but just started getting a yellow suspension fault about a minute or so after starting..... I have a basic code reader and getting C1a24....... No temp increase. Suspension appears OK, goes up and down...... Last week or so, feels slow to raise from access to standard.....
Any ideas where I could start looking....... Is the pump US??? I'm off to Cornwall in 2.5 weeks and can't bring myself to tell wife that we have an issue. 🙄🙄

Appreciate and feedback...

Cheers

A suggestion would be to remove the pump and check whether the filter media is okay and while you are at it whether there is a crack were the two pipes go in. Kits are available on ebay for overhauling them.

Just a quick update..... Now I'm getting the slow to inflate message...... She seem to take an eternity to raise from access to standard..... Again Amber warning lamp.
I turned the ignition off and back on and she then seemed to pump up fine....

Any thoughts???

Hiya

Did u check/ replace the filter and media within the dryer as globetrotter suggested

Does it drop overnight at all plse , also has the reservoir tank been checked

If you’ve done the dryer , ur compressor may be getting tired which is best checked with diagnostics in order u can check what Psi it’s producing

Then if that all checks out, need to use a multimeter to ensure the connections and correct Vdc is at the compressor, if not would have to go to the front passenger side and check the other connections behind the wheel arch cover

Finally also need to ensure ur battery is also ok, with and without the engine running

Hope that helps

Ps, as urs is a 2007, I’m not 100% sure when they moved the connections from behind the passenger side wheel arch liner to behind the drivers side headlight

If I may say plse, know you’ve added what disco u have in the first post , but easier if u fill in ur profile so it shows then every time what disco u have

Check your air tank for holes. They rust through on the top. Tiny pin holes let out air, compressor cycles too frequently, over heats and wears out. Fit a new on with out fixing the tank - it repeats.

Might be something else, but its an easy check
