Faulty EGR VALVE
Driving home the other night the d3 started to cough a bit over 3000 revs and under accelartion, the special systems program turned off then later the engine warning info came up, luckily i was near to the dealers (frank ogg) who took it straight in, and sorted it for the next day, even luckier it was covered by my warranty company scotsure as it wasn't a cheap fix just for a little valve 370 quid they also replaced a rear number plate light so all i had to pay was 65p i can't thank the dealer enough but is this just the tip of the iceberg, ah well we'll see, i'm just happy to get it back

From my own point of view, I've owned some top German marques, and my next buy is definitely going to be LR. Sounds like your dealer is also worth sticking with.

i was just thinking that, can you get blanks for them, as in the old d1 d2 style

You certainly can get the EGR plates, I am waiting to do this but canny till the warrenty expires. I think from memory that a infamous TD5 tuner now does them, canny name them as advertising infringment, but we all know who they are

I know Ken, but I had rather not name companies. I tip toe about now...............I am sure the mods know somebody within the forum that can supply, and certainly NOT beyond uncle Rays skills.
I have used the infamous TD5 tuner, and totally happy with SWMBO's beasty, but for me its got to be TT, but wanna try before I buy, and I want it for xmas or new year.
