Faulty Parking Brake
Can anyone help, just had my vehicle recovereed by Landrover Assist for all that i can describe as a screeching Parking Brake.
It wouldn't disengage, finally the AA guy just pulled away and off it (we) went to Duckys.
Duckys are saying sometimes the cables become a little slack, so if it's that then no warranty (struggling to understand this on an 18mnth old vehicle). If not theat then they're not sure...
Any ideas out there while they disect my Disco???
Many thanks fron the new boy!!

Welcome to the forum, and more specifically club EPB failure!!!
Try doing a search for +EPB, then grab a coffee and a large packet of biscuits while you read through all the material that will be shown.
EPB is the achilles heel of the D3 and a very widely known problem, especially at dealers! Fortunately Duckworths (to whom i think you refer) are one of the better ones and should look after you I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.
