FBH Locked
My FBH is not working, have pulled the 2 pin connector with the hope of resetting , but this hasn't worked.
I think I need someone to plug in send reset .
Or anything else I can do first.
Based nr Huddersfield

Look in the Wiki - you can pull a fuse which will usually reset it - off hand I can't think how you do it (As in the fuse or procedure), but the wiki will say Mark.

Thanks Beanie, will try that when I get 5 mins.
If that doesn't work, then what is the next step.

I just read the codes on my FBH and these included "Lock Out" and "Low Fuel" I have reset them but I was running the car so coolant at 40c which I presume is too high for FBH to fire?
Based on the "Low Fuel" I guess the original problem was fuel starvation any tips if fault remains when engine is cold and I try again?

Now fixed and working fine.
I think low fuel level with previous owner had locked out FBH. I reset it and after putting in some shell V-Power and running and resetting twice it now fires up and runs without setting new codes. Job done.

Yes and I also noted removing fuse 28 "does not" reset stored "lock out" codes these need to be reset with a diagnostic tool...

OK so its NOT fully fixed!
It starts up and exhaust box starts to get hot, bit of white smoke etc but after about 2/3 minutes its stops with the following DTC:
Any ideas could it be gummy pipes / fuel starvation?
How do you remove the fuel pipe clips?
Thanks?

If you get smoke this suggests fuel is getting through.
The clip you can remove by pinging it open with a flat blade screwdriver, I replaced mine with a small jubilee clip.06 D3 SE / 15 LR D90 XS SW / 88 LR 90 Td5 / 68 BMW 2000 ti

Andy, I've seen this before. Fitted an FBH controller to a Members D3, it started, ran for a minute, then purged and stopped. It was resolved by forcing the FBH to run using the diagnostic kit from Webasto as I recall.
Forum member was Amossis ( Ray ) and he found somebody local to him to plug it up and run it. He was local to Leeds so he may very well know somebody near you who can help.
Not seen Ray on for a while but drop him a PM, he will probably be able to advise. Mods:
