Fbh not on diag all of a sudden

Hi all,
As in title, I have got an autel and occasionaly scan to see if any faults pop up. Very recently my fbh won't come on. I have been activating it using the remote fitted and my 3rd button on cold mornings.
When went to check if there were any faults showing why it isnt working, its not showing auxiliary heater in the list anymore.
I have seen it previously and cleared faults or run a priming routine.
Any ideas why I can't see it now on my diag.
The fuse looks OK.
Cheers
Rich

It might have just been 'spiked' due to low voltage during cranking, either pull the fuse or the power connector for a few seconds, whilst you're at it, check the voltage supply at the connector and the fuse is intact. I've seen a few refuse to start due to volt drop across the fuse or harness but they still communicated.

I guess make sure the climate control panel is ON when using the Diag tool

NEVER “run” a priming routine!

It is a diesel! Not gasoline..

Priming is ONLY to use IF you fit a new dosingpump or a new fuel line, otherwise never, even not when only the heater unit is exchanged …

As a matter of fact, a lot of FBH’s will stop working after such unnecessary fuel prime sessions, since the glowplug gets „glazed“ (is that correct english?) Or soothe up, when they do, the resistance changes permanently so the glowplug stops working correctly….

Regarding your question, i only see 3 options: fuse, wiring (12v, CAN) a ECU (webasto or LR)
 Best regards
